Coaching Skills
Coaching your people is a critically different skill than giving feedback, and the best managers know the nuances of each, and when to coach versus when to give feedback.
In this workshop, we’ll teach participants the difference and help participants know when and how to use each skill. We’ll walk through a simple framework participants can add to their toolbelt when coaching in the future, and all participants will get practice building this key skill.
Inclusive Leadership
In today’s global and ever-changing workplace, we get to work with people of all backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. Furthermore, inclusion is shown to create trust, belonging, happiness, bonding, and even better engagement and productivity.
It is more important than ever that leaders know not just how to lead, but how to lead inclusively. They must know how to cultivate each individuals strengths, foster a sense of psychological safety, level the playing field on various fronts, and create a sense of connectedness and belonging.
We’ll teach participants the elements of inclusive leadership, and specific practices (and mindsets) that make inclusive leaders. Participants will walk away with an actionable plan to help them step into inclusive leadership.
Giving & Receiving Feedback
The dual art of giving and receiving feedback may be one of the most critical skills for anyone to master if they want to cultivate successful relationships in any capacity, work or otherwise.
This workshop is divided into two portions — the first half on giving feedback, and the second on receiving. After digging into the latest research in feedback, in each section, participants will learn the simple (yet powerful) components of feedback, and get tactical practice that will grow their skills in this important area.
Emotional Intelligence Skills
Research shows Emotional Intelligence is a key leadership skill for the modern world.
This workshop is for teams who want to up-level their ability to navigate complex emotions in themselves and others they work with, thus growing their ability to navigate complex working relationships and environments. After digging into the latest neuroscience, participants will learn the five elements of emotional intelligence, and be guided in exercises and games to grow their abilities in these five areas, and walk away with custom next steps on how they might apply these new skills to improve their working relationships.
